Terms & Conditions

1. Use of Facilities & Assumption of Risk
All use of Furnis Sauna Village facilities, including saunas, cold plunge pools, showers, changing areas, and associated amenities, is undertaken at the user’s own risk. Sauna bathing and cold-water exposure involve inherent risks which may result in injury, illness, or adverse health effects.

By entering the premises and using the facilities, you acknowledge and accept these inherent risks and agree to take personal responsibility for your participation.

2. Health & Medical Responsibility
Users must ensure they are medically fit to use sauna and cold-exposure facilities. If you have any medical condition—including but not limited to cardiovascular conditions, blood pressure abnormalities, respiratory conditions, neurological conditions, pregnancy, or are taking medication—you should seek medical advice prior to use.

Furnis Sauna Village does not provide medical screening or medical advice and shall not be responsible for any injury or illness arising from a user’s failure to assess their own medical suitability.

3. Cold Plunge & Cold Exposure
Cold plunge pools are used voluntarily and at the user’s own risk. Cold exposure may cause rapid physiological responses and should only be undertaken within personal limits. Users must enter and exit pools safely and immediately cease use if feeling unwell.

4. Alcohol, Drugs & Intoxication
The use of alcohol, recreational drugs, or any intoxicating substances before or during use of the facilities is strictly prohibited. Furnis Sauna Village reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any person suspected of being under the influence, without refund.

5. Right of Refusal & Safety Compliance
Furnis Sauna Village reserves the right to refuse admission to, or remove from the premises, any individual who is deemed unfit to safely use the facilities or who fails to comply with safety instructions, signage, or staff directions. This includes unsafe behaviour or conduct likely to endanger oneself or others.

6. Clothing, Jewellery & Personal Safety
Appropriate swimwear must be worn at all times. Nudity is not permitted. Jewellery and metallic items should be removed prior to sauna use due to the risk of burns. Swimwear with metal fittings or compression panels is not recommended.

7. Personal Property
Personal belongings are brought onto the premises at the owner’s risk. Furnis Sauna Village accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to personal property.

8. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability which cannot be excluded under Irish law.

Subject to the above, Furnis Sauna Village shall not be liable for any loss, injury, damage, or claim arising from or in connection with use of the facilities.

9. Age Restriction
Furnis Sauna Village is strictly for persons aged 18 years and over. Proof of age may be requested. Entry will be refused where age requirements are not met.

10. Acceptance of Terms
By booking a session and/or using the facilities, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, Conditions, and Safety Disclaimer.
